Well howdy, QGDC subscribers. It’s about that time. Hide yo’ kids, hide yo’ wife!

The Queen’s Game Developers Club is hosting its first meeting on Wednesday, September 26th at 8:00pm, in Goodwin 247.

We’ve got a great guest speaker for the first meeting, so we’ll start off with a bang. Andy Moore, owner of Canadian studio Radial Games, is going to Skype in on the big screen and tell us about his experience as an indie game developer. Andy has created a number of games, including the big hit Steambirds, blogs and podcasts regularly, and has a lot of interesting thoughts about game development and design. Please come check it out!

We’ll also discuss what the club does, what our plan is for the year, and what everyone would like to be involved with. We might also roll some d20s.. I mean, if you want to.

And hey, one lucky attendee is getting a Steam code for some game. Yeah, we’ll just give out a game to one lucky person. Let’s just do that. 🙂

Come on out, and tell your friends! Let’s make and play some games.

Oh, and join our Steam group already!
